About the position
Location: Wavre (BE)
We’re seeking a strategic and results-driven Account & Business Developer to accelerate BIORIUS’ commercial growth and strengthen our global client partnerships.
In this role, you will take ownership of a diverse client portfolio, deepen relationships with key accounts, and actively pursue new business opportunities across international markets.
If you have a strong commercial mindset, proven experience in B2B sales, and the ability to translate client needs into tailored business solutions, this position offers the opportunity to make a real impact within a leading international consultancy.
This is a full-time hybrid role located in Wavre, with some work-from-home options available.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management & Client Growth
- Manage, retain, and grow existing client accounts through effective relationship management, up-selling, and cross-selling strategies.
- Deliver tailored, high-quality service that ensures long-term client satisfaction and trust.
- Proactively identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain a strong, sustainable sales pipeline to support long-term growth.
- Analyze client performance and develop account plans to maximize revenue potential.
International Sales & Market Development
- Promote BIORIUS as a trusted partner and leader in cosmetic regulatory consulting.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new growth opportunities.
- Represent BIORIUS at global trade shows, industry fairs, and professional events.
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Consistently meet and exceed commercial objectives with a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of BIORIUS’ sales strategy by identifying emerging needs, trends, and opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (Regulatory, Operations, Marketing) to ensure a seamless and client-centered service delivery.
The ideal candidate:
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is an asset, but relevant experience is what counts most.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in international B2B sales or account management within the cosmetics or consumer goods industry.
- Fluent in French and English (both written and spoken). Additional languages, particularly Spanish and Korean, are considered a plus.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex accounts and closing high-value deals.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Commercially minded, autonomous, and strategic, with a proven ability to balance client needs with company objectives.
- A collaborative team player who contributes ideas and drives continuous improvement.
- Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
