with leading global clients! We are seeking an experienced

Electrical Authorised Person

to ensure safety, compliance, and excellence across electrical commissioning and operations.

Key Responsibilities

Safety:

Enforce company procedures including Control of Hazardous Energies, Permit to Work, and Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) systems.

Ensure compliance with the Electrical Safe System of Work (ESSOW) and client safety directives.

Review and approve subcontractor electrical RAMS and COHE documentation.

Manage and control LOTO systems, safe switching, energisations, and isolations during commissioning.

Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and incident reporting.

Ensure correct use, selection, and maintenance of electrical PPE and arc flash mitigation procedures.

Technical:

Perform commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and inspection of LV/MV electrical systems, including MCCs, VSDs, switchgear, and distribution panels.

Read and interpret technical drawings, SLDs, and wiring diagrams.

Complete and record all pre- and post-energisation testing in compliance with local regulations.

Support all commissioning phases (Levels 1–5) and enforce the Electrical Permit to Work system.

Assist in electrical incident investigations and ensure safety and calibration of testing equipment.

Execute safe switching schedules and energisation procedures under SAP direction.

Collaborate effectively within multi-disciplinary teams.
