For a pharma customer in Hainuat, we are searching for an automation engineer with electrotechnician skills to support the operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of automated medical cabinet systems.
The ideal candidate will possess strong electrotechnical expertise, the ability to interpret technical schematics, and experience working within automated warehouse environments connected to Warehouse Control Systems (WCS).
Responsibilities
- Interpret and analyze electrical schematics and technical drawings related to medical cabinet systems.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in electromechanical and automated systems.
- Perform functional testing and validation of medical cabinets to ensure proper operation and compliance with standards.
- Maintain and support automation systems interfacing with Warehouse Control Systems (WCS).
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and systems.
- Collaborate with engineering, IT, and operations teams to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
- Support system upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Document technical issues, maintenance activities, and solutions clearly and accurately.
Profile
- Technical degree or certification in Electrotechnics, Automation, or a related field.
- Proven ability to read and understand electrical schematics and technical maps.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting electromechanical systems.
- Familiarity with automation environments, particularly involving WCS integration.
- Experience working with Siemens and/or Beckhoff automation systems.
- Comfortable working within Windows-based systems and environments.
- Experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse automation environments.
- Knowledge of PLC programming or diagnostics (Siemens S7, Beckhoff TwinCAT is a plus).
- Understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Profinet, EtherCAT).
