Civil servant at the fourth qualification level
as a consultant for IT service management (m/f/d)

The internal business processes of the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy are fully digitalized and paper processes are a thing of the past. As part of defined IT service management processes, the IT department provides the necessary infrastructure (on-prem and cloud), administers the associated systems and provides both advice and support to the specialist departments in IT matters.


The advertisement is aimed exclusively at civil servants (m/f/d) up to grade A 14 with entry into the 4th qualification level of the science and technology career path or promotion to the former higher service or modular qualification for an office from grade A 14 in the same career path.

These are your tasks:

• Design, implementation and updating of IT service management processes
• Implementation of service processes in the ticket system (OTRS)
• Conception and updating of processes in Identity and Access Management
• Administration and connection of the IAM system (Tenfold) to Exchange and Active Directory
• Participation in the implementation of an information security management system according to ISO 27001
• Specialist administration of the Exchange server operated by a service provider
• Implementation of supporting web applications
• Advice and support for specialist departments in IT matters

What you bring with you:

• Computer scientist (m/f/d), business computer scientist (m/f/d), industrial engineer (m/f/d), graduates in electrical engineering and information technology or management and technology (TUM-BWL) (m/f/d) or mathematician (m/f/d) with a diploma degree (Univ.) or master's degree (consecutive, at least 300 ECTS)
• Knowledge of IT service and identity and access management or willingness to acquire this knowledge
• Experience in the administration of IT infrastructure systems
• Willingness to familiarize yourself with new systems and technologies
• Structured approach to complex tasks and challenges
• Ability to grasp complex issues quickly and present them concisely and coherently
• Verbal and written fluency (German, English)
• Ability to work in a team and service orientation

• Employment as a civil servant with the possibility of promotion up to grade A 15 BayBesG
• Allowance for work at the highest civil service authorities of currently €265.39 or €331.74 (grade A 14) gross per month
