Lead Commissioning Manager – Data Centre Construction | Mons, Belgium

We're supporting a leading European contractor delivering a major hyperscale data centre project in Mons.

This role is for an experienced Commissioning Manager ready to take full ownership of the commissioning function on a large-scale build — not just manage individual systems or packages.

You'll be responsible for driving commissioning strategy from pre-commissioning through to client handover, working across MEP teams, vendors, and client stakeholders on a live hyperscale environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead commissioning strategy across all systems (Electrical, Mechanical, BMS)
• Coordinate with project delivery, QA/QC, and client teams
• Manage commissioning engineers and specialist vendors
• Drive programme, sequencing, and handover milestones
• Ensure compliance with client standards and commissioning protocols

What we're looking for

• Proven experience delivering commissioning on hyperscale or mission-critical projects
• Background working with a main contractor or commissioning consultancy
• Strong stakeholder management across delivery and client teams
• Ability to lead full project commissioning, not just packages
