Department Info The Finance Business Partnering team has a strategic role in the organisation. Our team supports the full organisation in driving financial profitability forward and helping the organisation achieving financial objectives. This by focusing and conducting in-depth analysis of financial performance, trends, macro-economic and competitors situation, KPI's on our current financial situation and identifying areas of improvement from business perspective as well as from the perspective of internal processes and tools. Job Summary As the BU FBP Manager, you will be responsible for providing consolidated support to Terumo Europe's business units, driving controlling processes, and reviewing and optimizing current operating methods. Your focus will be on increasing efficiency, adding value to our activities, and supporting the decision-making process to reach our financial goals. Collaborating closely with peers, the consolidation and analytics team, and country-cluster FBP Managers, you will lead the effort to enhance reporting tools and processes and ensure alignment with business needs. This role reports to the EMEA director Finance Business Partering, and you will manage and coach 3 Finance Business Partners. Job Responsibilities As a member of the Finance Business Partnering team, your key responsibilities include acting as a strategic business partner to BU senior leaders. You will support them in decision-making processes, driving controlling processes, and conducting in-depth financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities. Additionally, you will review and propose changes to current operating methods, processes, and reporting tools, aiming to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. To ensure seamless integration, you will collaborate with various stakeholders, aligning all BUs into the FBP scope. You will also take the lead in defining service delivery to BUs while ensuring business continuity during the finance transformation and transition period. Moreover, you will be responsible for building and leading an effective team, with a strong focus on growth and development. Throughout your journey in this role, you will face exciting challenges and objectives. Integrating all BUs into the FBP scope and defining optimized services for delivery will be among your key tasks. Furthermore, you will coach and manage your team of Finance Business Partners, taking care of their personal development and empowering them to take on their role independently. You have over 10 years of experience in a similar role (e.g. sr financial controller, finance BP, controlling lead...) in a multinational, preferably in the healthcare industry, along with proven experience in effectively interacting with senior leadership members. Possessing essential competencies such as a strategic mindset, collaboration skills, and the ability to build effective teams will contribute to your success. While not mandatory, knowledge of SAP, Power BI, or other relevant tools, as well as experience in the EMEA market and familiarity with competitors, will be considered advantageous. Your success will be supported by excellent communication skills, allowing you to adapt and connect with diverse stakeholders. Being a strong team player with a proactive and challenge-driven approach and embracing a growth mindset will further enhance your effectiveness. Fluency in English will also be critical to ensure effective communication with colleagues and stakeholders Travel Requirements: Estimated at 20%-30% for team meetings, working sessions, and BU requirements.
