We don't let IT do it, we do it ourselves. Join us and use your expertise to become part of our team in one of the most beautiful industries in the world and be responsible for

• Analyzing the goals, business processes and data in the New York Group
• Development of the data strategy and specialist concepts to establish sustainable data governance with a focus on data quality management, master data management and metadata management in the context of data-driven analytics projects in business intelligence and data science
• Establishment and implementation of the data governance roadmap
• Introduction of data management methods and technologies with a focus on frameworks to improve data quality
• Design and implementation of a process model for the continuous improvement of data quality
• Collaboration or (partial) project management in strategy, analysis and implementation projects in the field of data governance from a business and technological perspective
• Stakeholder management and implementation of innovation and requirements workshops with specialist departments and management, as well as presentation of the results at all management levels

THAT CONVINCES US

• Successfully completed studies in economics, econometrics, (business) informatics, natural sciences, industrial engineering with a strong interest in computer science or a comparable course of study
• Several years of consulting and project experience in topics such as data governance, data management, data strategy, data catalog, data quality management, etc.
• Expertise in setting up state-of-the-art tools in the areas of data governance, data quality, master data and metadata management
• Knowledge of various database systems, programming languages, data modeling and ETL implementations
• Industry knowledge in the retail environment is an advantage
• Good knowledge of German and English
• Excellent analytical skills and a high level of comprehension
• Independent, proactive and structured way of working, ability to work under pressure and assertiveness
