Job Title: Database Administrator expert

Location: Melle, Belgium - Hybrid

Duration: 24 Months contract

Job Description:

To strengthen its OT Network Management Systems department, client is seeking a specialist in databases (primarily Oracle and Cassandra) and data analysis.

In addition to 'run' tasks related to the OT data foundation (health checks and adjustments, upgrades and patching, data refreshes in non-production environments, data updates and cleaning, etc.), the role also encompasses the investigation, development, and optimization of new business requirements, projects, and integrations with surrounding systems.

Context:

• We are looking for someone with extensive experience in setting up and maintaining Oracle, Apache Cassandra, and Linux systems, who is also proficient in scripting using Python and Shell.
• Demonstrable knowledge of and experience with relational databases - Expert level (8 years)
• Demonstrable experience with database optimization and tuning
• Demonstrable experience with setting up databases using Oracle and Apache Cassandra
• Demonstrable experience with Linux and Windows environments
• Language requirement: Dutch proficiency at European CEFR level C2.
