This research aims to unravel novel therapeutic strategies by studying the vulnerability and resilience of the cell nucleus in this aggressive brain tumor, leveraging cutting-edge microscopy technologies and collaboration with international research teams.Doctoral Scholarship in Biomedical Sciences – Cell Plasticity in GlioblastomaResearch Area: Biomedical Sciences, specifically Cell Plasticity in GlioblastomaLocation: Campus Drie Eiken, University of AntwerpEligibility/Qualification: Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in (Bio-)medical Sciences, Biochemistry, (Bio-)Physics, Bioscience Engineering, Veterinary Sciences, Medicine, or equivalent , or be on track to obtain the degree at the time of employment. Exceptional academic results, teaching competences aligned with the University’s vision, and research qualities in accordance with the faculty and university policies are essential. Experience in cell culture, genome engineering, fluorescence microscopy, and bioinformatics is recommended.Job Description: The successful candidate will actively contribute to the preparation of a PhD thesis on cell plasticity in glioblastoma.
