Our client, a leading company in the production sector located in Bruges , is looking for a Freelance Finance Manager to strengthen their team. Key responsibilities as Freelance Finance Manager: Ensuring the quality and correctness of statutory books. Verifying tax returns compliance, with external tax advisors available for special cases. Strictly following up on cash flow and forecasting based on sales and operational data. Preparing monthly management reports, including internal P&L and balance sheets for HQ. Establishing budgets and forecasts and presenting them to HQ. Monitoring working capital requirements and making necessary adjustments. Managing ICT infrastructure and coordinating potential upgrades. Key qualifications required for the role of Freelance Finance Manager: More than 10 years of professional experience, ideally progressing from accounting to controlling and leading a team. Strong analytical skills, eagerness to learn, and a hands-on approach. Leadership through leading by example. An IT-minded approach with a good understanding of financial systems. A team player with proactive problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset for continuous improvement. Fluency in Dutch, English, and basic French.
