Peacefully located in a wooded setting with views over the green landscape of Walloon Brabant, close to Wavre and Louvain-la-Neuve. This 19th – century Anglo-Norman style château is situated just 15-20 minutes from Brussels and the national airport. The hotel offers 110 rooms and is set within a 3-hectare park featuring gardens and private terraces. It has also leading conference & event venue with 3 fully equipped meeting rooms and a 380 m2 banqueting room with strong focus on high-quality meeting and events. In addition, the hotel will further emphasize its wellness facilities offering different treatments and a high-end wellness experience in a unique environment.
B. Responsibilities and Duties
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Food & Beverage Manager to lead all F&B operations with a strong focus on service excellence, financial performance, and team leadership. The ideal candidate combines operational expertise with strategic thinking, ensuring a seamless guest experience while driving revenue growth and maintaining strict adherence to standards and procedures.
C. Task description
Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and implement the F&B strategy, aligning with the hotel's brand standards and financial objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a large team to deliver outstanding service and operational efficiency.
Operational Management
- Oversee daily operations across all F&B outlets, ensuring consistent quality, compliance, and guest satisfaction.
- Manage budgets, costs, and inventory to optimize profitability while maintaining high standards.
Guest Experience & Innovation
- Elevate the guest journey through creative concepts, personalized service, and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with culinary and events teams to develop memorable dining experiences and successful events.
Financial & Administrative Oversight
- Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and P&L statements for the F&B department.
- Implement cost-control measures and revenue-enhancing initiatives to meet financial targets.
Team Development
- Recruit, train, and retain top talent, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and growth.
- Act as a visible leader, setting the standard for service, professionalism, and teamwork.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with hotel leadership, sales, and operational teams to align F&B offerings with overall business goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and guests.
Experience & Skills
- Proven experience as F&B Director/Manager in upscale ( or higher level) hotel, resort, or high-end restaurant.
- Strong background in multi-outlet F&B operations, including restaurants, bars, and banqueting.
- Financial acumen: ability to manage budgets, forecasting, and cost control.
- Fluency in English and ideally Dutch and/or French.
- Leadership skills: ability to motivate teams, drive performance, and maintain high standards.
- Guest-focused mindset with a passion for hospitality excellence.
