For a global customer in Limburg, I'm searching for an interim (freelance) Logistics Lead to help execute their SMART objections for warehouse improvements.

You will be required onsite full-time 5 days per week, and you should ideally have some experience leading a team and a background in logistics, warehouse and/or supply chain.

1. ALCOA+ Registration of Pallet Movements (Most Important)

Every pallet movement must be correctly and completely recorded in the ERP system using ALCOA+. This means that all movements are recorded at the time of execution, preventing lost pallets and eliminating time wasted searching for pallets. Stock levels in the ERP system must always be accurate.

SMART: 100% of pallet movements recorded at the time of execution; 0 deviations during internal audit. Deadline: Continuously applied from day 1.

2. Housekeeping & GMP Compliance

Increase the overall level of order and cleanliness by implementing a visual housekeeping standard (checklist). No unidentified items may be present, and no temporary locations may be used. Order and cleanliness, including removing dust from reach trucks, must become automatic.

SMART: 100% of warehouse areas meet the checklist during the weekly audit. Deadline: Fully implemented within 4 weeks.

3. Leadership & Feedback

Daily follow-up of execution and feedback to Lead, supervisor, operators, and material handlers. This feedback should include, at a minimum: task status, deviations and corrective actions, and priorities for the coming day.

SMART: At least one formal feedback session per day, recorded in a logbook. Deadline: applied continuously from week 1.

4. Planning & Anticipation

Drawing up a rolling 5-day schedule for warehouse activities. This schedule should provide an overview of production needs and create a balance between the internal workload and service to production.

SMART: Schedule updated daily and shared with SCM and the team. Deadline: operational within 2 weeks.
