OPEN POSITION: Physician - Internal or Family Medicine

SCHEDULE:

Full-Time 4 10-Hour Shifts No Evenings No Weekends Minimal On-Call

COMPENSATION:

$325,000 to $350,000 Base Salary, negotiable dependent upon experience $50,000 Sign-On Bonus Loan Repayment Program Generous Encounter Bonuses (approximately $60,000 annually) Malpractice Coverage Health / Dental Insurance Life Insurance 6 Weeks Paid Time Off 5 Paid Days + $3,000 for CMEs 403b Retirement Plan Full Package Negotiable

LOCATION: Kinder, Louisiana

COMPANY PROFILE: The hiring organization is a rural medical center with a brand new clinic (summer 2023) and a brand new hospital (summer 2024), currently hiring due to growth. They offer a wide range of services to area residents and are excited to welcome more members to the team in their new facilities.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: The new physician will work as a lead in a team-based care environment, working in a rural healthcare environment.

Physicians work with two (2) dedicated medical assistants, one (1) nurse practitioner, and one (1) LPN.

Physicians see an average of 25 patients per day.

Specific duties of the role include, but are not limited to:

provide assessment, planning, primary care, and continuous medical coverage provide direction and support to nurse practitioners and members of the care team collaborate on care planning decisions assist in coordinating care delivery

The organization uses the CPSI rural health medical record system. REQUIREMENTS:

Louisiana medical license DEA Board Certified or Eligible, Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
