Industrial IoT Support Engineer*

Your tasks:

• You are the contact person for our customers as a Support Engineer
• Your tasks include error documentation and carrying out systematic error analyses, e.g. in the area of network communication and firewalls
• You maintain close cooperation with our cross-functional teams for troubleshooting and product improvement
• Supporting our customers in the commissioning and operation of our hardware and software is also part of your tasks
• Use of the following technical landscape: Windows and Linux operating systems, industrial PCs, Linux (CentOS) on our own industrial PC hardware, virtual machines and Docker containers (on-premise and in the cloud), various network technologies, Java, web technologies, mobile apps, mobile devices (e.g. tablets, data glasses, smartphones)

Your profile:

• Completed training as an IT specialist in system integration or comparable qualification or experience
• Advanced knowledge in dealing with Windows and Linux systems, e.g. with Powershell/Bash, services, log files, scripting, container techniques, IT security
• Network communication and protocols in heterogeneous environments - troubleshooting with tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, nmap
• Interest in Industry 4.0 technologies
• Open and communicative in exchanges with customers as well as IT specialists and other interface areas
• Independent working style with a high degree of goal and solution orientation
• Very good German and English skills round off your profile
