The Inside Sales Specialist will focus on driving new business development, supporting key accounts, and managing smaller accounts across Europe. This role combines strategic customer engagement with commercial execution, enabling profitable sales growth and long-term customer satisfaction. You will work closely with internal teams, including Engineering, Key Account Managers (KAMs), and Marketing, to develop opportunities and ensure smooth account transitions.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct cold calling and outreach, focusing on quality within a defined area (5–10 calls per day)
Target markets include Rail, Power, Industrial, Manufacturing, and Renewables
Work from the provided contact lists and strategic market account plans, using Salesforce to manage leads and activities
Engage with Engineering, Purchasing, and Director-level contacts, following structured scripts and prepared scenarios
Introduce the company, promote products and services, and arrange meetings with internal colleagues and engineering when required
Independently make contacts, identify customer pain points, and report potential opportunities to management
Support quotations, pricing, contracts, and smaller commercial accounts, transferring larger accounts to Key Account Managers
Collaborate with Key Account Managers and internal teams to manage existing accounts and ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Languages, Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent
Minimum 2 years’ experience in Inside Sales, Customer Service, Project Support, or Commercial Sales Support; experience with technical products is a plus
Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce ideally) and strong skills in cold calling, lead generation, and sales data analysis
Excellent verbal and written communication in English (Dutch a bonus, French and German preferred)
Confident, proactive, customer-focused, and able to collaborate cross-functionally
Must be office-based in Belgium, candidates from Ghent or Brussels preferred
