ZDF's Information and Systems Technology division develops complex software solutions for in-house production, rights and contract management, which are subject to a continuous optimization process. This goes hand in hand with the analysis, design and implementation of applications that support ZDF's core business processes.

As IT Project Manager / Project Manager Software Development, you will be responsible for the development and provision of innovative solutions in close cooperation with the product owners of the specialist departments. You keep a close eye on the projects, analyze project data and derive the corresponding measures.

IT project manager / project manager software development

(Collective agreement designation: System administrator / IT project manager software development)
Full-time (38.5 hours/week)

The position will be filled at the earliest possible date.

Your tasks

• You will manage classic, agile or hybrid software development projects, including in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• In strategic coordination with Enterprise Application Management, you will embed technical solutions in the ZDF system landscape.
• You manage cross-departmental agile project teams with internal and external stakeholders
• You ensure transparent communication and prepare efficient decision-making with all stakeholders
• You are responsible for the budget in the preparation and implementation of projects.

Your profile

• You have a university degree or Master's degree with a focus on (business) informatics or another equivalent qualification corresponding to the job description and many years of professional experience.
• You have relevant professional experience in management, conception and system design as well as in the planning and realization of self-developed software projects and in agile cooperation with external service providers.
• You are characterized by strong analytical skills and a high level of abstraction as well as an independent way of working.
• You have a high level of social skills, a confident manner and strong communication and persuasion skills and enjoy working with people.
• Ideally, you have experience in working with web technologies, cloud-based software architecture (preferably GCP) and open communication technologies.
