Our client has multiple office locations, this position could operate in both Leuven & Wallonia - flexible working policy in terms of home office. Our client is seeking a dedicated Legal Counsel to strengthen its Legal & Regulatory department in Belgium. Key responsibilities include: Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. Advising on regulatory matters and monitoring legal changes affecting the business. Managing relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators, industry groups, and law firms. Supporting internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, Operations) with legal guidance on commercial and regulatory issues. Master's degree in Law with a focus on commercial and/or regulatory matters. 3+ years of experience in a regulated sector, preferably in commercial law or compliance. Expertise in contract law, regulatory compliance Fluent in Dutch and English with excellent communication skills. Analytical, pragmatic, and solution-oriented mindset. Proactive, independent, and team-oriented approach. Detail-focused and hands-on in addressing legal challenges. Competitive salary package based on experience and qualifications.
