We're experiencing strong growth across international markets and are now looking for an ambitious Scientific Affairs & Market Access Manager to strengthen Unisensor scientific positioning and accelerate strategic market access across Europe.This role directly impacts revenue growth, regulatory positioning, and long-term competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities1.KOL & Scientific Affairs ManagementIn this part of the role, you:Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in dairy quality control, reference laboratories, regulatory bodies and academic institutionsLead scientific collaborations, supporting product listing and regulatory acceptanceCoordinate publication strategies, white papers, and field data generationRepresent Unisensor in scientific conferences, working groups and dairy industry committeesSupport market access initiatives to achieve official listing in milk payment and milk screening programs across main European countriesMonitor regulatory updates related to antibiotic residue testing and advise internal stakeholders accordingly.
Your key objective is to elevate Unisensor as a leading scientific authority in antibiotic detection and ensure its integration into national milk control programs across Europe.
2.Commercial team and Distributor Technical Team ManagementWorking with the sales team, your responsibilities will include the following tasks:Develop and implement a monthly technical training week program for newcomers, distributors and large direct accounts.Build structured certification pathways for distributor technical teams.Develop training materials (SOPs, troubleshooting guides, validation protocols, e-learning modules).Evaluate distributor technical performance and define improvement action plans.Ensure consistent technical messaging and high service standards across markets.
You build high-performing, autonomous distributor teams that elevate customer satisfaction and proactively reduce technical issues.
3.Technical Pre-sales & Key Account SupportYour role is also to:Ensure successful onboarding of new Key account customers and distributorsMonitor product adoption, usage trends and customer satisfaction
Coordinate with Sales, R&D, QA/RA and Marketing to resolve technical distributor challengesSupport key tenders and strategic accounts with technical expertiseDrive product retention and expansion opportunities within existing accounts.4.Market Access & Strategic PositioningYou also play a part in:Support regulatory submissions for national approvals.Participate in pilot projects required for official product listing.Map key stakeholders involved in milk payment decisions in each country.Develop country-specific action plans for listing achievement.
Hard SkillsYou combine strong scientific expertise with a strategic and business-oriented mindset. You have:A master's or PhD in Life Sciences (microbiology, veterinary science, food safety, diagnostics or related field)A 5–10 years of experience in Scientific/Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory, or technical roles within diagnostics or the food industryA solid understanding of antibiotic residue testing, dairy quality control or similar analytical environmentsExperience with validation studies, field trials or scientific publicationsYou have a proven ability to operate in complex, multi-stakeholder environmentsExperience engaging with Key Opinion Leaders, reference laboratories, regulatory bodies and academic institutionsA good understanding of European regulatory or market access frameworksAn ability to navigate and influence complex decision-making ecosystemsYou are also comfortable in a hands-on, cross-functional role:Experience in delivering technical training and developing structured content (SOPs, e-learning, certification)Strong problem-solving skills in technical support and customer environmentsAbility to collaborate effectively with Sales, Marketing, R&D and QA/RA teamsBusiness awareness and understanding of the commercial impact of your actions
