We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a client in the automotive sector. As part of this mission-driven team, you will contribute to designing and developing air, cooling, and hydrogen systems for a wide range of in-house and customer projects. Developing design concepts that balance application needs and system-level requirements Completing detailed part design with consideration for performance, cost, mass, NVH, safety, and manufacturability Collaborating with simulation teams to analyse both system-level and detailed part designs Working closely with suppliers and manufacturing partners to optimise designs for production Releasing 2D drawings, following up on manufacturing processes, and assessing part quality at delivery Creating detailed 3D models and performing engineering studies (strength, clearance, fastening, etc.) You hold a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Fluent in English (oral and written) Ability to perform technical studies using basic engineering calculations (mechanical, thermodynamic, etc.) Experience with 3D modelling software and basic simulation tools Familiarity with manufacturing technologies and their design constraints Strong team player, able to collaborate with designers, suppliers, and project management stakeholders Creative problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail Keen interest in the automotive industry and sustainable mobility Experience working in cross-functional or international environments Technical training to develop your skills A corporate culture focused on safety, quality, and sustainability Stage 1: Initial telephone interview (15 min) with @Kenny, Talent Acquisition.
