My client, a leading company in the industrial manufacturing sector, is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineering Project Manager to join their team in Tournai, Belgium.

Role Overview:

As Mechanical Engineering Project Manager, you will take ownership of complex engineering projects from initial design and planning through to execution, delivery, and post-implementation review. You will be responsible for coordinating multidisciplinary teams including design engineers, production, quality, and procurement, ensuring seamless collaboration across departments.

Your role will involve detailed project scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and budget control to ensure projects meet their objectives within the agreed timeframe and financial constraints. You will act as a key liaison between technical teams, senior management, and external clients, managing expectations and communicating progress effectively in both French and English.

In addition, you will be instrumental in identifying opportunities for process optimization and innovation, driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product quality, reduce costs, and improve manufacturing efficiency. Compliance with safety and regulatory standards will be a critical aspect of your role, ensuring all projects adhere to industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end mechanical engineering projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and budget
• Coordinate cross-disciplinary teams and collaborate with stakeholders in French and English
• Drive process improvements and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards
• Act as the key point of contact between technical teams and clients

Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering project management, preferably in industrial manufacturing
• Fluent in both French and English (written and spoken)
• Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex projects
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
