Belgium is looking for a

MES Engineer

to join its consulting team.

As a consultant, you will support our clients in the Pharmaceutical and Energy industries for our brand

Infogene

(Group expertise in Digitalization, Industrial IT, and Cybersecurity).

In this role, you'll be the link between traditional production and innovative digital solutions, working in a GMP-compliant environment within biotechnology.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

Support the digitalisation of biomanufacturing processes by converting paper batch records into electronic batch records (eBR) within the MES. Gather, analyse, and write

User Requirements (URS)

for specific manufacturing process steps (upstream, downstream, buffer preparation, etc.). Translate complex bioprocess workflows into clear and accurate

functional MES requirements . Execute tests and verify electronic batch records directly in the MES environment. Perform

Performance Qualification (PQ)

activities and contribute to the overall validation lifecycle. Collaborate closely with IT, validation teams, and other MES team members throughout project ramp‑up. Gradually take ownership of assigned process packages and work autonomously. Occasionally interface with

OSIsoft PI

for data integration and mapping.

ABOUT YOU:

5 years experience working in

regulated / GxP environments . Knowledge of the

validation lifecycle , including URS and PQ (basic understanding of IQ/OQ). Prior experience with

MES systems

(Siemens Opcenter or equivalent). Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross‑functional collaboration skills. Ability to work independently after onboarding. Fluency in French and English.
