Navision Expert – Aalst

A leading retail organisation based in Aalst is looking for a Navision Expert to take ownership of their ERP environment and act as the link between business and IT.

The company relies on Microsoft Dynamics NAV as a core platform supporting retail, logistics, and finance operations. With new digital initiatives underway, they are seeking an experienced expert to ensure stability, continuous improvement, and alignment with business needs.

You’ll play a key role in managing the application lifecycle, coordinating with external partners, and guiding internal stakeholders through change and optimization projects.

Role:

• Own the end-to-end management of the Microsoft Dynamics NAV application.
• Ensure smooth daily operations, incident resolution, and system performance.
• Analyse business needs and translate them into system configurations or change requests.
• Coordinate with development and integration partners on enhancements and upgrades.
• Maintain documentation, user manuals, and process flows.
• Support key business processes across finance, logistics, and retail.
• Lead user training and act as the functional expert within the organisation.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV in a technical or functional role.
• Strong understanding of retail or distribution processes.
• Experience working with ERP integrations (POS, WMS, CRM, finance systems).
• Fluent in Dutch, comfortable working in English.

START DATE: ASAP

DURATION: 12 months (extension expected)

CONTRACT: Freelance

LOCATION: Aalst (2–3 days onsite per week)

ONSITE POLICY: Hybrid

HOURS PER WEEK: 40

LANGUAGES: Dutch + English
