We believe that our exceptional student outcomes and top world rankings are really a happy by-product of our unique culture built on care, curiosity, and collaboration. /p pWe are seeking a highly organised and dependable School Secretary to provide day-to-day administrative support to the Principal#39;s Office and act as a back-up for the Personal Assistant to the Principal/Clerk to the Board. The role requires excellent administrative, organisational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage sensitive information with the utmost discretion. This position is ideal for a reliable professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multicultural educational environment. /pbr /ul listrongAdministrative Support to the Principal#39;s Office /strong /li /ul ul liProvide day-to-day secretarial and administrative assistance to the Principal. /li liManage correspondence, draft letters, emails, and internal memos in English and Dutch. /li liMaintain filing systems and ensure documentation is properly organised and accessible. /li liMaintain an up-to-date school calendar and support planning of events led by the Principal#39;s Office. /li liHelp prepare reports and other key documents for leadership and external bodies. /li liSupport communication between the Principal#39;s Office and staff, parents, students, and visitors. /li /ul ul listrongBackup Support to the PA/Clerk to the Board /strong /li liProvide administrative cover for the PA to the Principal during absences or high-demand periods. /li liAssist with the logistical and administrative preparation for Board meetings. /li liHelp maintain Board records, meeting minutes, and compliance-related documentation as needed. /li liSupport coordination of strategic events or visits involving the Principal and Board. /li /ul ul listrongDocument Management and Compliance /strong /li liMaintain high-quality filing systems for official school records. /li liEnsure timely tracking of administrative deadlines. /li /ulbr /ul liDegree in administration, secretarial studies, or a related field. /li liAt least 2 years#39; experience in a professional administrative role; experience in a school or international setting is a strong asset. /li liFluent in English and Dutch (spoken and written); French is a plus. /li liStrong IT proficiency /li liExperience supporting senior leadership and handling confidential information.br / /li /ul pstrongThe Person: /strong /p ul liCommitment to the BSB Guiding Statements /li liCommitted to achieving the best at all times for BSB students /li liBelief that in learning and in life more is achieved together than alone /li liCommitted to the safety and wellbeing of BSB students. /li /ulbr /ul liA part-time (50 to 60%), permanent role with generous holiday provision /li liOn the job training /li liInteresting position in an international environment /li liAn attractive salary - BSB Operational scale, Band 3 representing a minimum ofbr / € 45.417 and maximum € 70.983 gross per year (full-time, pro-rated for part-time roles), depending on the years of relevant experience /li liInteresting extra-legal benefits including hospitalisation insurance, extra pension payments, additional holidays, luncheon vouchers, free use of the BSB sport facilities /li /ulbr / Organization Skills, Support Planning, Health Safety, Administration, Documentation, Office Support, Leadership, Communication, Schools, Wellbeing Support, Archive, Administration, Asset, Office Support, Event Management, Correspondence, Document management, Board Meetings
