Accountant – Antwerp Provenance, Belgium (On-site)

We are looking for a hands-on and detail-driven Accountant to join a dynamic and growing international finance team based the Antwerp provenance and Limburg. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys being close to operations, working across borders, and making a real impact on financial processes.

You’ll work closely with both local and international teams, giving you real exposure to cross-border finance in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Take ownership of day-to-day accounting operations, including invoice processing, bank reconciliations, and ledger management
• Play a key role in month-end and year-end closing processes
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with accounting standards and internal controls
• Work closely with the finance team in Italy and external partners to streamline processes and improve efficiency
• Contribute to continuous improvement within the accounting function
• Communicate confidently with internal and external stakeholders in Dutch and English
• You will be reporting directly to the head of finance
• Hands-on involvement with the mergers and acquisitions of different entities

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• proven track record of hands-on accounting experience, ideally in an operational role
• Strong understanding of core accounting principles and processes
• Confident with invoices, reconciliations, and general ledger work
• Experience working with international teams is a strong advantage
• Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented mindset
• Strong communication skills in English.
