We are looking for a Production Manager with a strong technical background who is eager to take ownership of our Make-to-Order (MTO) production flow, coordinate external manufacturing partners and further develop in-house 3D printing capabilities.

You enjoy combining engineering, production and quality, and you take satisfaction in seeing a product evolve from design to a finished and certified solution. You will start as an assistant to the Product Manager, with clear growth opportunities, and will work closely with our CTO.

In short:

Purpose of the role

• To set up, manage and continuously optimize the Make-to-Order production process.
• Coordinate internal and external manufacturing activities.
• Ensure high-quality, compliant and efficient production that supports the company's growth.

Position within the company

• Starts as Assistant to the Product Manager and reports directly to the CTO.
• Works closely with Product Management, Supply Chain, Quality control and external production partners.
• Over time, the position can evolve into a broader product and production management role, with increased responsibilities across product development, production processes, and cross-functional coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and follow up production at external manufacturing partners, including planning, communication and delivery.
• Set up and manage the Make-to-Order (MTO) process and translate customer requirements into production-ready solutions.
• Support and optimize assembly processes, leveraging supply chain expertise to align materials, components and lead times within a Make-to-Order environment.
• Create and adapt CAD designs, ensuring manufacturability, assembly and quality.
• Develop and manage in-house 3D printing, from design to production.
• Select appropriate materials based on functional, mechanical and production requirements.
• Ensure quality assurance, including testing and documentation.
• Support and manage CE certification processes and technical compliance.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of production workflows, tools and standards.

Qualification profile

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electromechanics.
• Strong CAD design skills (SolidWorks experience is a plus).
• Solid knowledge of materials and production techniques.
• Experience or knowledge of assembly processes and supply chain in an MTO environment.
• Experience with quality assurance and technical documentation.
• Experience with or good understanding of CE certification.
• Experience or strong interest in 3D printing is a plus.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; German is a plus.
• Analytical, structured and hands-on mentality.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Communicative, flexible and motivated.
