ABB's Drive Products Division is establishing a new, modern Regional Distribution Center (RDC) in Genk, Belgium. This RDC will operate in close collaboration with a trusted 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) partner. To support this exciting growth, we are looking for a Production Manager to lead our new site.
In this role, you will be responsible for guiding a multidisciplinary team-including production planners, a production development engineer, and transportation and customs coordinators-while ensuring seamless daily collaboration with our 3PL colleagues. You will play a key role in building efficient processes, driving operational excellence, and securing a smooth launch of the RDC.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Leading and developing our own ABB RDC team ensuring customer centric approach to reach set targets for our order-delivery process.
Ensuring a safe and compliant working environment
Driving effective cooperation with the 3PL service provider, including performance follow-up and continuous operational alignment.
Overseeing inbound and outbound logistics processes to support uninterrupted production flow
Setting clear direction, defining priorities, and ensuring the team has the right capabilities, tools, and resources to excel.
Championing and promoting continuous improvement initiatives across the production and logistics processes.

ProfileQualifications for the role
Strong understanding of production operations, planning, and logistics processes.
Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to support, develop, and motivate diverse teams.
Experience collaborating with 3PL partners or logistics service providers is considered an advantage.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities, combined with a continuous-improvement mindset.
Ability to manage priorities effectively, work in a dynamic environment, and make data-based decisions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills when working across functions and with multiple stakeholders.
Proficiency in production planning tools, as well as WMS and ERP systems.
A degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; equivalent professional experience demonstrating deep expertise is equally valued.
Fluent spoken and written English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
Comfortable communicating in English with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and management at all levels.
