A fast-growing international technology company active in automation and robotics for logistics environments is looking for a Model-Based Systems & QA Engineer to strengthen its engineering team.

In this role, you will play a key part in developing dynamic system models and ensuring quality within model-based engineering workflows. The position combines technical expertise in simulation and modeling with quality assurance practices to guarantee reliable simulations and compliance with engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

Plant Modeling (MATLAB / Simulink)

• Design, develop, and maintain dynamic models of physical systems including mechanical and electrical components.
• Calibrate and validate models to ensure accurate representation of real-world system behavior.
• Integrate models into broader simulation environments and development workflows.

Quality Assurance

• Define and implement test strategies for model-based development.
• Execute validation procedures to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with engineering standards.
• Maintain documentation and quality control within the modeling process.

CI/CD & Test Automation

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated model testing and validation.
• Implement automated reporting and monitoring using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Improve testing efficiency through automation frameworks and continuous integration practices.

Collaboration

• Work closely with software engineers, system architects, and mechanical engineers to ensure seamless integration of models into the development lifecycle.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects and support the continuous improvement of engineering workflows.

Candidate Profile

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, or Software Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar engineering or model-based development role.
• Strong hands-on experience with MATLAB and Simulink is essential.
• Expertise in physical system modeling.
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies within engineering environments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
