pFor one of the Belgian entities of a global manufacturing company in the port of Ghent, I am lookiung for a Senior Business Controller. This role requires a strong financial professional with extensive controlling experience and the assertiveness to challenge stakeholders and optimize business performance. You will play a key role in financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making in a dynamic and international environment. /ppJob Tasks /pulliConduct in-depth analyses of PL, ROCE, and risk management for specific market segments, identifying trends and growth potential; /liliTranslate financial data into clear reports and presentations, providing strategic insights and recommendations; /liliOptimize working capital and monitor key risks related to accumulated positions and essential raw materials; /liliManage the planning process, including periodic forecasts, annual budgeting, and strategic planning up to EBIT level; /liliContribute to key investment projects, including CAPEX and MA, by providing financial expertise; /liliCollaborate with the Reporting Factory to enhance reporting and analysis tools, ensuring consistency and accuracy; /liliAct as a strong business partner by supporting market segments and facilitating strategic decisions with financial insights. /li /ulpProfile /ppMust-haves: /pulliYou hold a master’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field; /liliAcquire at least 8 years of experience in finance, preferably as a controller or business partner; /liliDemonstrate strong analytical skills to translate financial data into strategic insights; /liliCommunicate fluently in English, both written and spoken; /liliPossess excellent communication skills to present complex financial concepts clearly; /liliCollaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management. /li /ulpNice-to-haves: /pulliHave experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems. /liliSpeak Dutch or French in addition to English. /liliShow a proactive mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving. /liliBring experience in investment analysis, CAPEX, or MA. /lilihe Demonstrate tability to optimize working capital and risk management. /li /ulpOffer /ppYou will join an organization that is among the top of its sector and pays great attention to its employees.
