Overview Senior Embedded Software Engineers are sought by this leader in Avionics software development to be based at their R+D Centre in Kortrijk, Belgium. The Senior Embedded Software Engineers will be responsible for developing embedded real time software in C and C++ for avionic display systems. The Senior Embedded Software Engineers will be tasked with working to extremely stringent development standards developing these safety-critical products.
Having completed your technical education, you will have gained experience developing embedded software under RTOS and Linux for complex electronic interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet etc.). You should have written RTOS based Drivers and any exposure to bare-metal / hardware, software co-design would be beneficial.
Candidates need to be fully authorised to work in Belgium.
Responsibilities Develop embedded real time software in C and C++ for avionic display systems.
Work to stringent development standards on safety-critical products.
Develop embedded software under RTOS and Linux for complex interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, etc.).
Write RTOS-based drivers; exposure to bare-metal/hardware and software co-design beneficial.
Qualifications Technical education completed.
Experience developing embedded software under RTOS and Linux for complex electronic interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, etc.).
Experience writing RTOS-based drivers.
Exposure to bare-metal hardware and software co-design would be beneficial.
Fully authorised to work in Belgium.
