For our client, one of Europe's fastest growing high-tech manufacturing groups active in vision, research, defense & security, we are looking for a Senior IC Layout Engineer to strengthen the Sensor R&D team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IC layout specialist to work on next-generation infrared imaging sensors used in defense, aerospace and scientific applications. You will take ownership of the physical layout of readout ICs and contribute to advanced pixel and sensor development projects.

Role & Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for IC Layout Development.
• You will own the physical layout implementation of readout ICs for advanced image sensors, including analog and mixed-signal blocks.
• Translate design requirements into robust layout architectures and ensure high-quality tape-out delivery.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics or a related field
• At least 8 years of experience in IC layout (analog / mixed-signal preferred)
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
• Interest in a long-term opportunity within a stable R&D environment
• Willingness to work on-site in Leuven or relocate
