Job Summary As Tax Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our tax processes and ensuring compliance with regulations and policies. With your expertise, you'll have the opportunity to drive innovation, mitigate risks, and optimize our tax strategies to contribute to our company's success. You can count on the coaching of our Tax & Treasury EMEA Director. Job Responsibilities You'll be responsible for developing, reviewing, implementing, and enhancing tax processes across our EMEA entities. Your keen eye for detail will ensure that we adhere to tax rules and group policies, providing a solid foundation for our operations. One of your key responsibilities will be managing operating transfer pricing. By performing profitability analyses, you'll determine arm's length prices and engage in discussions and agreements with other Terumo entities. In addition to transfer pricing, you'll oversee the Effective Tax Rate (ETR) at the EMEA level, working on long-term tax plans and strategies. Your strategic insights will be crucial in managing tax-related risks across the region and developing innovative tax solutions. Furthermore, you'll also ensure the maintenance of all tax documents, providing a solid foundation for audits and regulatory compliance. As a manager, you'll have the opportunity to build and maintain strong relationships with many internal and external stakeholders. Your expertise and collaborative approach will help minimize tax risks associated with M&A and dealings as well as identifying valuable opportunities for our business. In the realm of compliance and projects, you'll stay ahead of legislative and regulatory tax law developments. Your coach and support one Tax Specialist and foster an environment of continuous development and high performance. With over 8 years of experience in tax, you've built a solid foundation of knowledge and expertise in (international) tax, transfer pricing, and indirect tax. Your in-depth understanding of these areas allows you to navigate complex tax regulations with ease. Your pro-active attitude and meticulous attention to detail set you apart. Your communication skills enable you to effectively convey complex tax concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You have a first experience in people management and understand the importance of motivating and guiding team members to achieve their full potential. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is a must. For practical reasons, we would prefer to recruit candidates in: Belgium, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, The United Kingdom or Poland.
