We’re currently looking for a Teamleader Accounting to step in and support our finance operations. If you're ready to take the lead, make an impact, and keep the numbers (and the team) on point — then we want to hear from you!What you’ll be doing:Lead Support the Accounting TeamYou'll guide your team through day-to-day accounting activities, making sure everything runs like clockwork. - Ensure consistency in accounting (purchases, sales, suspense accounts, adjustments) - Follow up on customer/supplier accounts and help resolve disputes - Check balance sheet accounts and keep open items under control - Keep our chart of accounts in line with company needs - Organize and balance the team’s workloadOwn the Monthly Closings - Book monthly payroll entries with input from HR - Prepare and review provisions (bonuses, holiday pay, bad debts, etc.) - Deliver clean and clear monthly accounting overviewsSupport Reporting Budget Monitoring - Update investment tracking reports - Keep an eye on cost control across services and operationsStay Tax Smart - Review and submit VAT and annual tax returns - Keep the CFO up to date on any new tax laws or fiscal changesHelp Finalize the Year-End Accounts - Review balance sheets, income statements, and closing docs - Assist with audits and discussions with external auditors - Support the preparation of reports for general meetings, tax provisions, and moreProfielWhat we’re looking for: - Strong sense of ownership and autonomy - Experience in Belgian accounting and tax legislation - A collaborative mindset—you work well with auditors, the CFO, and operational teams - Leadership experience or natural mentoring skills - Detail-oriented, proactive, and reliable - A positive attitude and drive to keep things moving - Strong communicator, you are willing to work in a Dutch, French and English environmentAanbodBenefits: - Competitive salary package. - Health insurance and retirement benefits. - Opportunities for professional development and career advancement. - - Dynamic and collaborative work environment. - Work-life balance initiatives.Ready to Make a Difference?If you're passionate about driving success, fostering relationships, and making a real impact, then we want you on our team!
