Assignments

We are looking for a Test Engineer to lead the planning, execution, and analysis of product validation tests for one of our clients in the automotive/hybrid transmission sector.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Converting test requests into concrete test procedures and defining necessary test equipment
  • Translating abstract test needs into structured test plans
  • Executing parts of the extended product design validation plan and ensuring milestones are met
  • Converting mid-to-long-term planning into weekly tasks and solving roadblocks to maintain efficiency
  • Preparing, coordinating, performing data analysis, and reporting development test results
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to identify and solve technical issues
  • Supporting compliance with quality requirements, including ISO 17025

The profile

Background

You hold a Master's degree in Automotive, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent by experience.

Must Have

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive testing and test facilities
  • Familiarity with Hybrid Powertrains or Automatic Transmission
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, hands-on approach
  • Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage technical issues
  • Fluent in English (oral and written)
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience with VECTOR CANape, CANalyser, AVL-CRETA, INCA, Matlab
  • Customer-focused, flexible, persistent, and goal-oriented mindset
  • Familiarity with structured problem-solving methods such as 8D
  • Previous experience in automotive or high-tech manufacturing environments
