Your role

As a Trade Marketeer at Rubio Monocoat, you play a key role in strengthening our brand position in local markets. You actively position our brand with both existing and new resellers and partners, with the objective of increasing visibility, reinforcing brand perception, and ultimately driving sales growth. You act as the link between marketing and sales, translating our brand strategy into effective and locally relevant activations. Through targeted campaigns, impactful point-of-sale materials, and close support of our partners, you ensure a consistent and powerful brand experience across all touchpoints.

Your responsibilities

Develop and implement local trade marketing plans aligned with commercial objectives, market needs, and the overall marketing and campaign strategy. Activate the brand at the point of sale through targeted retail initiatives such as newsletters, co-branded banners, retailer-specific campaigns, and other creative activations. Create inspiring and effective POS materials that strengthen our brand identity and increase in-store visibility. Coordinate the development and timely delivery of marketing materials (brochures, displays, giveaways, etc.) in collaboration with the sales and purchasing teams. Organize and support events, product launches, and promotional campaigns, while translating international campaigns into locally relevant activations. Evaluate trade fairs, in-store events, and other industry events together with the sales team, identify opportunities for participation, and ensure professional execution and strong follow-up of leads and prospects. Regularly visit points of sale to ensure brand consistency and gather valuable market insights. Build strong relationships with our reseller network and stimulate continuous knowledge sharing (best practices, market insights, benchmarks) to better understand and support the needs of our offline partners. Analyze the effectiveness of your actions, draw insights from data and feedback, and continuously optimize trade marketing initiatives.

What we are looking for

At least 3 years of relevant experience in trade marketing, retail marketing, or a similar marketing role. A strong understanding of retail environments, reseller networks, and point-of-sale activation. The ability to translate strategy into practical and impactful marketing activations. Strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders. A proactive and hands-on mindset with a strong sense of ownership. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Willingness to visit markets and points of sale regularly. Fluent in Dutch, French, and English. German is a strong plus.
