For a global customer, I am searching for a freelance Cloud Netops Engineer to work on a homemade TerraForm provider and develop APIs in front of key network components which are integrated in a provisioning chain for user applications. This is a GCP environment so consultants should be comfortable working in the cloud. The team is responsible for combining networking with DevOps practices to streamline operations, improve automation, expand collaboration, and deliver ever more reliable and scalable network services. Responsibilities Contribute technically to the team's commitments in the delivery of features. (Build activities driven through Scrum rituals) Regularly participate in the operational maintenance activities of the network components Automate the network infrastructure solutions through development. Participate in the Run on modules, scripts, automatons developed by the team Participate in the various network innovation and improvement projects in the team. Propose and implement improvements and innovative solutions (Build & Run) Profile Required exposure to cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, BGP) Knowledge of Infra-as-Code/automation tools, preferably TerraForm Knowledge of APIs Good Python experience for scripting Experience with Docker or Kubernetes is a bonus Experiencer with network equipment (routers, switches, Firewalls, etc.) or network security is a bonus Additional details Seniority: Medior/Senior Start Date: March Duration: 12 Months Extension: Yes Contract: Freelance Location: Lille Onsite Policy: 3 days per week Hours Per Week: 40 Languages: Fluent French Interview Process: 1-2 stages
